Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep National Senior Circuit Team Analysis December 12-14, 2025
Style of Play:
Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep is a team that has a balance between playing fast and running half-court sets to get good looks. When they play fast in transition, they have the ball-handlers to push the pace and get easy looks at the rim or get players leaking out for high-percentage shots. Whoever grabs the rebound or forces the turnovers has the leeway to bring the ball up and operate as a ball-handler. They try to score quickly before the opposing team's defense can set up. In the half-court, they have a free-flowing type of offense. They have many shooters on the team that they free up running off-ball screens and pindowns. To free up cutters, they run back screens to get them to the rim and into the open space in the paint. In this type of action, they have lob threats with good hands and athletes who can finish above the rim.
On the defensive end, they run an aggressive full-court press, speed the other team up, and force turnovers allowing them to create offense from their defense. This is the focal point of their defensive plan and their defensive identity. Opposing teams they have faced don't have the personnel to break the press by executing multiple passes and getting down the floor quickly.

Player Analysis:
Hunter Salo
Position: G
Height: 6 Feet 1 Inch
Team: Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep
Circuit: National Senior Circuit
Class: 2029
Uncommitted
Hunter Salo's main skill is shooting threes in catch and shoot situations. He can initiate his own off-ball movement and operate in teammate-initiated off-ball movement. He moves well along the three-point line and is constantly moving, which makes it exhausting for defenders to chase him and helps him find open space. He comes around pindowns and off-ball screens to get to his spots for high-percentage catch and shoot three-pointers. In the open court, he operates as a catch and shoot pull-up three-point shooter. He has a quick release and fluid shooting mechanics. He can at times shoot threes off the dribble after using a shot fake to get the defender up in the air and get into a step-back three. With the amount of threes he takes, he spaces the floor for teammates to operate inside. His secondary offense is attacking in transition as a ball-handler and getting to the rim.
On defense, he gets into passing lanes creating offense from his defense. He is vital on traps and full-court pressure allowing him to execute the heavy press his team runs.
Evan Murray
Position: G
Height: 6 Feet 2 Inches
Team: Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep
Circuit: National Senior Circuit
Class: 2028
Uncommitted
Evan Murray can operate on leak-outs and contributes to his team's fast pace. As a leak-out guy he is quick, explosive, and fills the lane well allowing him to get all the way to the rim and finish. In the half-court, he moves well around off-ball screens and pindowns. He is one of their primary go-to players in off-ball screening actions and pindowns and they are very intentional about getting him quality catch and shoot three-point looks. He can also relocate to the open space along the three-point line and doesn't get stagnant, constantly moving from corner to corner. He has a quick release and fluid shooting mechanics. He has a shooter's mentality and he spaces the floor for his teammates. He isn't as effective putting the ball on the floor and attacking closeouts. He gets a bit out of control when trying to finish at the rim. He has a loose handle and loses body control resulting in a tough off-balance shot at the rim. Areas for improvement include processing speed and decision-making speed. At times, he hesitated and took time to make decisions.
Isaiah O'Donnell
Position: G
Height: 6 Feet 2 Inches
Team: Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep
Circuit: National Senior Circuit
Class: 2028
Uncommitted
Isaiah O'Donnell operates on leak-outs in transition being quick, explosive, and filling the lanes well. In the half-court, he is one of the team's primary cutting options and the main option for running back screens to get cuts to the rim. He is a lob threat and an athletic above the rim finisher for his size. He is more of an inside player than a perimeter player, but when he operates on catch and shoot three-pointers, he is best as a corner shooter. When attacking closeouts, it is more for him to set up his teammates cutting to the rim with a dump-off pass rather than for him to score. He is at his best when someone is creating for him and is limited when it comes to creating his own offense off the dribble.
On the defensive end, he has length and is vital in the full-court press forcing turnovers and allowing his team to create offense from their defense. He is vocal on the court and communicates with his teammates. He picks up from the backcourt and applies pressure on the ball-handler making it hard for them to advance the ball. In one on one isolation situations, he moves his feet well laterally and doesn't get blown by. When defending the pick and roll ball-handler, he can get under picks and beat the guard to their spot taking away their ability to drive to the rim.
Caleb De Haan
Position: F

Circuit: National Senior Circuit
Class: 2028

Caleb De Haan operates as a post up big using his size against smaller players. He gets deep post positioning and backs down smaller defenders. He has good touch and poise in the paint. In transition, he runs the floor well and other teams struggle matching his pace when rim running allowing him to get high-percentage shots. He rebounds well creating extra possessions and second-chance opportunities while limiting them for the opposing team. He also has a nice finishing touch on putbacks making him efficient at converting second-chance points. In the high post he can set up teammates and operate as a passer finding cutters and getting them good shots at the rim.

Off the ball, he can operate as a catch and shoot three-point shooter with a quick release and fluid shooting mechanics. As a backdoor cutter to the rim, he isn't as comfortable. Michael Igbitiri
Position: F
Height: 6 Feet 7 Inches
Team: Wiggins Elite Grade 11 Prep
Circuit: National Senior Circuit
Class: 2028
Uncommitted
Michael Igbitiri operates in the half-court as a cutter creating opportunities for himself to get shots in the paint especially on baseline out of bounds plays. He needs to improve his finishing in the paint. He struggles to absorb contact and finish inside at times.
On the defensive end, he is a rim protector. He has timing and instincts when blocking shots. He is disciplined jumping straight up vertically without fouling. He has the most size on his team, so they rely on him as the defensive anchor to protect the paint by limiting good shots inside.
